As I woke up today, I thought we’re already in the month of March but as I checked the Messages in my Inbox I noticed that it still February, February 29 a leap year. It happens only every four years so I think we need to celebrate this. Wish you all a very happy and successful Leap Year!!!

While reading my Chinese horoscope today, my chat mate asked me what I am doing right now, I said I just reading some horoscope and writing on my blog. Then she asked again, what is blog? I can’t help myself but to ask the same question. I realized now that I keep posting and telling people to visit my blog even though I still don’t know what blog really is.

Hi there people! I’m so busy these past few days doing link building and promotions to bring some traffic to my blog, so I’m sorry if I haven’t posted anything real lately, so here goes…

Has anyone ever encountered a situation in which you have a good traffic and your pay-per-click (or CPC, cost per click) ads is in pretty nice layout and color combination, and yet still getting less than on what you expected? I encountered that too, it’s like my visitors got an allergy in ads so even how hard I tried to optimize they were still lazy to click on it. Before I begin, let me introduce first what is Adsense for those people who have been living under a rock.

Google AdSense commonly just AdSense, is an ad serving program run by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image and, more recently, video advertisements on their sites. These ads are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-thousand-impressions basis. For me it is probably one of the most popular revenue generators in the Web.

I was very lucky when i started using Adsense, maybe because, google loves me!

The Story began 3 years ago when I saw an Adsense referral link from my friend’s website. I thought their ad is a good design on my Crappy copy paste website hosted by geocities so I tried to sign up. After 2 days of waiting I finally received a broke-up letter from Adsense, I hate to be rejected so I signed up again six times but they rejected me seven times so I stopped.

After a year, Ate Abby gave me a domain which is Makulit.net. I decided to make it a music website because I always listened on streaming music. After I built some Visitor’s traffic, I signed up again on Adsense and this time they accepted me so I’m very happy.

It took 3 months for me to earned $100 but before I received my payment. They sent first my PIN code for confirmation purposes. take a look

I Requested another PIN code because I though I would’nt received the first one . They Processed my first Adsense Cheque after I confirmed the PIN code.

My Visitors traffic is directly proportional to my earnings so while my traffic is increasing every month, my earnings are increasing too! I don’t have any pictures of my cheque to present, I already deposited to my bank account so just the details of them.

My 31,800php on November 2007 is my highest earning so far, I expected before, that I would earned 40,000php on the following month but it never happened because I made some mistakes regarding the terms and condition, that’s why they suspended my site (makulit.net) last December 2007. This January I only Earned 9,177 php in adsense from my new site Himig.net

Even though one of my website has been suspended I’m still happy because my account in adsense was not banned so you guys! always check the Terms and Conditions and Google AdSense Program Policies because they always update it without prior notice.

What will you feel if suddenly you received a cheque unexpectedly? Will you feel surprise? Shocked, or what ever…

That was 10am of January 28 when a knock on my door woke me up. Because it’s almost end of the month so I thought it’s about our electricity bill or water bill but I was surprised that it’s our local postman. So after I signed the paper of   delivery, he gave me the envelope with a logo of Adbrite on the top of my name and address.

At first, I thought it’s just a pin code, like in the Adsense when you reach $50 for the first time they will send a pin code for confirmation purposes. But what the heck? I never heard about confirmation or pin code about adbrite and besides, I already earned $200 on my Adbrite account that will be process this February.

Finally, I decided to open the envelope and Uh! It became CocoCrunch! (hehe joke!). It’s an Adbrite cheque worth $52.40

After an hour, I remembered about my first adbrite account that I signed-up 3 years ago.

My first attempt on using Adbrite is unsuccesful so I abandoned it and I never knew that some of the ads in that account were still alive and kicking hehe.

I know that my cheque $52 is just a cent to you, but since I don’t expect this and it gave me some happiness for a moment so I think it’s worth a post.

Yeah, I’m not Joking! My goal is really to earn as much as $2000 before the end of this year and I’ll do my best to attain this goal so help me God. hehe

My friend and I were talking while walking on the park near Laguna Lake. When I shared to her about my goal, she told me that my goal was so high that it’s nearly impossible for me to accomplish it. So I answered,  ”if you have a goal, then make it higher, so that if you reached even the 1/4 of it then it’s already a big amount. Besides, its free…”.

As I recall wayback last year, I met a friend in Yahoo Messenger named Sherwin Terunez who kept asking in our conference on how to earn 50,000php (that is 1000 if you convert it in US dollar that time.)

I’ve just started putting adsense on my site and  I didn’t have any idea on how to earn money so I said that it was impossible for us to earn that amount. He refused and said that if we could only share our knowledge to one another and work for it then, we can earn more than that.

After 3 months I fulfilled my dream to earn $400 while sherwin earned more than $1000 but if you less his expenses I think he attained already the 90% of his goal.

I received my first Widgetbucks cheque!

          My Widgetbucks payment finally arrived last month. Im sorry for the late post. I started using Widgetbucks last November 2007 because of their $25 signup bonus and I think its a good alternative for Adsense because that time my site makulit.net has been suspended in Google adsense for some reasons.
